14 Oct Why you should consider engaging a buyer’s agent
You may, or may not be familiar with them but buyer’s agents are growing in popularity. A buyer’s agent is someone who searches for a property on your behalf. We decided to take a look at some of the reasons for using them.
1 – You don’t need to spend the time going to and from open homes which can get tiring. Instead you can focus on doing what you want and leave the house, apartment or unit hunting to the professionals. This will save you an enormous amount of time. Not only that, it means that if the property inspection is at an inconvenient time you won’t need to worry about missing out on the property because the buyer’s agent can view it for you. That means you’re more likely to get your dream home.
2 – They can ask all the right questions because they have the knowledge. A buyer’s agent has the real estate knowledge to ask all the right questions of the real estate agent because they are in the industry. There’ll be no second guessing and no wondering if you missed out on asking something important. A buyer’s agent will get you answers to all the important questions you need answering.
3 – Buyer’s agents have industry networks. Have you ever wondered about how some properties sell without being on the market? Wonder no more. With a buyer’s agent they will be able to put in an expression of interest on a property that may not yet be on the market. That will give you access to some of the best properties around.
4 – Buyer’s agents have real estate knowledge so if there is something wrong with the home they’ll be able to get that information for you. You won’t need to worry about real estate agents lying to you, or important information being omitted. That ensures you won’t waste money putting an offer on an unsuitable property.
5 – Buyer’s agents can do all your bidding for you. Just give them a list of instructions and they’ll be able to hunt for a suitable property for you. This will not just save you time. It will also take the emotion out of the house hunt and rather than being caught up in the emotions of a property, you’ll be more logical and will base it on recommendations from the buyer’s agent. You will only see the property once the buyer’s agent has done the initial screen.
These are just a few of the reasons why using a buyer’s agent could help you in your quest for a home.
